Junior Scholarship

• Sponsor:
The Georgia Simmental/Simbrah Association.
• Purpose:
To recognize and assist deserving and outstanding students who are pursuing a career in agriculture or a related field.
• Award:
A $500 scholarship in the memory of Lindy Davis will be awarded each year to a deserving recipient at the annual meeting of the Georgia Simmental/Simbrah Association.
• Eligibility:
Applicant or applicant's family must have been members of the Georgia Simmental/Simbrah Association or Georgia Junior Simmental Association one year prior to applying for the scholarship. The recipient or parents of the recipient must remain members of the Georgia Simmental/Simbrah Association or Georgia Junior Simmental Association for one year after receiving the scholarship. Applicant must be in good academic standing . The scholarship is open to all majors, but preference will be given to Agriculture majors. You may apply as a senior in high school or as a college freshman.
• Additional Information:
Essay portion of scholarship must be a minimum of 500 words but no more than 1000. (Attach Essay to application on seperate sheet)
